Autobiography

I am a student at Cosumnes River College and in May of 2012 I received a Certificate of Achievement in Digital Media, in fall 2012 I received a certificate in Television Production, and in Spring 2016 I received a Certificate of Achievement in Photography.  Currently, I am taking courses at Cosumnes River College to pursue an Associate Degree in Broadcast Journalism. I have worked in a wide variety of related operations where I gained valuable experience in news reporting, graphics, web design, filming, editing, and film production.

 

In addition to my education, I have acquired extensive production experience through several internships with Access Sacramento and KCRA 3. I have gained valuable knowledge in studio operations, television production, and audio engineering.  This included live streaming, and pre-recorded broadcasts. I just completed a second semester internship at KCRA 3 where I have gained knowledge in Digital Media, Control Room Operations, and Editing.

 

I was born with Spina Bifida, which has confined me to a wheelchair however I don’t let this get in my way. I believe having Spina Bifida has helped me to appreciate the things in life that most people take for granted. I am strong, motivated, and determined to pursue my dreams. I feel that I would be a well qualified candidate for nearly any position in producing, editing, and cinematography.
